Logistics Program Manager, Devices Global Logistics (DGL)
As an Amazon Devices & Services Logistics Manager, you will be an integral part of Amazon Device Global Logistics Asia Operations team responsible for ensuring delivery of a world‑class end to end customer experience. The role executes daily operations in our DTMS (Device Transportation Management System) system and manages devices, accessories and subsidiary shipment movements from our contract manufacturers/vendors to destination Fulfilment centers (FCs) and Offline 3PL locations globally.
The position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks, consistently meet deadlines, be a creative problem solver and display flexibility with the ability to succeed working within an open environment and to keep continuous learning to find process‑optimized and simplified opportunities with all our third‑party logistics (3PLs) service providers and the CMs (Contract Manufacturers). This individual will represent the DGL team to identify, evaluate and provide system enhancement and optimization initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
* Logistics Transportation Management: Onboard new vendors to DTMS system, set up operation process in new vendors, pre‑setup system configurations, trainings, SOP update and maintenance.
* Distribution and exceptions management of shipping forecast and shipping plan to LSP via DTMS system.
* Execute SOP for logistics/transportation, and provide proposals to fine‑tune on a regular basis. Coordinate with CM, LSP, FCs and internal stakeholders on data investigation and operation issues.
* Manage vendor and 3PL performance, and find solutions to achieve cost savings & shorten lead‑time while complying with all necessary regulations. Conduct regular and qualitative business‑case analyses to improve operation processes.
* Reporting Management: Provide logistics performance reports to related teams for WBR, MBR, QBR, SBR and functional review.
* Continuously invent and simplify the current logistics process to streamline or automate current process and transform them into feasible logistics projects.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor degree in supply chain management, logistics or equivalent.
* 5+ years hands‑on experience in supply chain operations on Logistics/Import/Export/Warehouse related.
* Good communication skills and problem‑solving skills.
* Fluent English both in spoken and written.
* Good command of MS Office and analysis skills.
* Passion to learn new things with a growth mindset.
* Self‑motivated & self‑driven to achieve results.
Preferred Qualifications
* Data engineering and data analysis skills. Programming skill such as QuickSight, Macro, Python, Power BI, etc.
* Warehouse and Inventory management skills.
* Project and new initiatives design and implementation skills.
* Familiarity with exporting/importing regulations in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
