For our site in Collecchio (PR) we're searching for a qualified and resourceful Automation Engineer.
We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Engineer with expertise in TIA Portal and robotic system programming. The ideal candidate will design, develop and optimize automation solutions, focusing on PLC programming, robot integration, and smart manufacturing strategies to enhance efficiency and reliability. Develop and program PLCs using TIA Portal (Siemens)
Design and optimize robotic automation systems, including integration with PLCs and other control interfaces
Configure and maintain SCADA, HMI, and industrial communication protocols
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement advanced automation solutions
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve automation-related issues
Stay updated on emerging trends in automation and robotics
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related fields
Proven experience with TIA Portal and robotic system programming
Strong knowledge of industrial automation, PLCs, SCADA, and communication protocols
Familiarity with robotic arms, their programming languages, and integration techniques
Experience in IoT-driven automation and Industry 4.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and smart production methodologies (preferred)
Familiarity with AI-driven automation (preferred)
Good English proficiency (both written and spoken)
Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
This job operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing environment. The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday with flexible hours between 8am to 5:30pm, with additional hours as business needs necessitate.
