PpRINA is currently recruiting for a bJunior Experience Designer - Maternity Leave Cover /b to join its office in bGenova /b within the bDigital Technology and Cybersecurity /b Division. /p h3Mission /h3 pAs a Junior Experience Designer, you will contribute to the creation of intuitive and engaging digital experiences by supporting the design team in research, prototyping, and the development of user-centered solutions. You’ll work closely with designers or senior and cross‑functional teams, learning how to turn insights into effective interfaces. This position is offered as a bmaternity leave replacement /b. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 ul liUser Research ul liAssist in planning and conducting user research activities (interviews, surveys, usability testing). /li liCollaborate in synthesizing collected data to identify needs, behaviors, and pain points. /li liHelp create user personas and journey maps under team guidance. /li /ul /li liDesign Contribution ul liParticipate in workshops and brainstorming sessions, contributing ideas and creative solutions. /li liWork with designers or senior to understand product goals and align design proposals. /li liStay up to date with industry trends and best practices. /li /ul /li liPrototyping and Testing ul liCreate low‑fidelity wireframes and prototypes to visualize initial concepts. /li liSupport usability testing preparation and execution. /li liHelp analyze feedback and iterate on design solutions. /li /ul /li liCollaboration ul liSupport cross‑functional teams (e.g., product managers, developers, marketing) by helping facilitate communication across functions and ensuring design solutions are understandable and feasible. /li liActively participate in workshops and brainstorming sessions, contributing ideas and gathering input from colleagues and stakeholders. /li liAssist the design team during project meetings by helping represent user needs and promoting alignment with design principles, under the guidance of more senior team members. /li /ul /li liGrowth and Learning ul liReceive ongoing feedback from designers or senior to improve skills and design approach. /li liTake part in internal training and team activities to develop capabilities. /li liContribute to project documentation and design processes. /li /ul /li liDesign Systems ul liHelp maintain the design system by contributing reusable components. /li liDocument patterns and guidelines under team supervision. /li liSupport the implementation of design standards in collaboration with developers. /li /ul /li liStakeholder Communication ul liPrepare simple presentations of concepts and prototypes for the team and stakeholders. /li liWelcome and integrate feedback constructively. /li liPromote a user‑centered approach throughout the project lifecycle. /li /ul /li /ul h3Education /h3 pBachelor’s Degree /p pMaster’s Degree in Design Drafting or Other /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Cognitive Psychology, Digital Humanities or related fields or equivalent experience demonstrated through a portfolio. /li liExperience: 0–2 years in UX/Experience Design (internships and relevant academic/personal projects count). Portfolio with 2–3 case studies showing an end‑to‑end process (problem, approach, prototype, results/lessons learned). /li liSkills: Wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, information architecture, basic accessibility (WCAG), and basic usability measurement; confidence with Figma (Auto Layout, Variants, prototyping) and FigJam/Miro; familiarity with handoff/collaboration tools (Jira/Trello, Confluence/Notion). /li liKnowledge: Principles of human‑centered design; foundations of research methods (interviews, surveys, basic analytics); understanding of core product/usability metrics (task success rate, error rate, time on task). /li liCommunication: Ability to explain decisions and trade‑offs to diverse audiences, clear written communication, active listening; English B2 or higher for documentation and team interactions. /li liTeamwork: Collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, time management, and attention to detail. /li /ul h3Competencies /h3 ul liADDRESS THE WAY - Have a big picture of different situations and reinterpret it in a perspective way /li liBUILD NETWORK - Forge trust relationships, across departments, and outside the organization /li liCLIENT INTIMACY - Embrace internal and external client needs, expectations, and requirements to ensure maximum satisfaction /li liEARN TRUST - Take everyone's opinion into account and remain open to diversity /li liMAKE EFFECTIVE DECISIONS - Structure activities according to priorities, actions, resources and constraint /li liMANAGE EMOTIONS - Recognise one's and other's emotions and express and regulate one's reactions /li liPIONEER CHANGE - Actively embrace change and benefit from the new circumstances /li liPROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT - Promote commitment by keeping promises as a Role Model /li liTHINK FORWARD - Capitalise on experiences and translate them into action plans for the future /li /ul pRINA is a multinational company providing a wide range of services in the energy, marine, certification, infrastructure mobility, industry, research development sectors.
