At the St. Regis Rome, we are seeking a Director of Groups & MICE. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role manages and drives the hotel's group bookings, meetings, incentives, conferences, and events. The position requires a strategic, client-focused approach to craft bespoke experiences for high-profile clients and corporate groups. The Director will develop and execute MICE business strategies, collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery, exceptional experiences, and revenue growth, positioning the hotel as a top destination for luxury events. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES MICE Sales Strategy and Business Development Develop and implement sales strategies to attract MICE business. Maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the sector. Represent the hotel at industry events and build new business opportunities. Build relationships with clients, agencies, and event planners. Understand client needs and customize solutions. Ensure high standards of service and oversee event coordination. Act as the main contact for MICE clients, ensuring smooth event execution. Support Marriott's Customer Service and Brand Standards. Handle operational aspects like proposals, contracts, and correspondence. Participate in daily service practices aligned with the St. Regis brand.
