Ph3Job Title: Environmental/ Energy Manager EEM /h3 pLocation: NAS Sigonella /p h3Scope /h3 pEnsures compliance with environmental, energy, and sustainability requirements. /p h3Duties /h3 ul liImplements the Environmental Management System (EMS). /li liPrepares, submits, and maintains environmental permits, reports, and spill response documentation. /li liDevelops and enforces compliance with the Installation Energy Plan. /li liConducts environmental audits, inspections, and spill drills. /li liEnsures compliance with Italian, DoD, and U.S. environmental policies. /li liOversees waste reduction, recycling, and pollution prevention programs. /li liCoordinates with the Installation Environmental Office (IEO) on spill prevention and remediation. /li liTracks energy usage and provides recommendations for reduction and optimization. /li liEducates workforce on environmental stewardship and energy conservation. /li /ul h3Mandatory Experience Certifications /h3 ul liMinimum two years of experience in environmental procedures comparable to contract requirements. /li liFamiliarity with Environmental Management Systems (EMS). /li liKnowledge of environmental regulations, federal energy laws, and policies. /li /ul h3Preferred / Desirable Certifications /h3 ul liISO 14001 Environmental Management certification. /li liCertified Energy Manager (CEM). /li liLEED AP accreditation. /li /ul h3Disclaimer /h3 pThe responsibilities and qualifications outlined above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by those in this position.
