In this role you will lead Medical Affairs for Electrophysiology across the G5 markets, shaping medical strategy and ensuring regulatory alignment. You’ll oversee the MSL team, translate clinical insights into franchise priorities, and drive patient‑centric medical leadership. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to advance EP solutions, manage safety and regulatory inputs, and influence strategic decisions. * Oversee MSL work for Electrophysiology in G5 markets (DE, FR, UK, IT, ES) and ensure cohesive medical input into strategy
* Provide procedural insights and translate opportunities to address unmet surgical needs for franchise innovation
* Ensure knowledge transfer from global medical to G5 markets and contribute to Target Product Profiles
* Lead safety oversight across end‑to‑end processes, including adverse event reporting and health hazard evaluations
* Critically evaluate clinical risk and provide evidence‑based risk‑benefit determinations
* Provide medical input for patient safety decisions and regulatory submissions with EMA and other regulators
* Develop and implement clinical evidence strategy and lead education and training initiatives
* Manage MSL operational aspects (budget, performance, succession) and coach team members
* Foster external engagement with KOLs, physicians, academic institutions, and regulators; represent customer perspective in strategic discussions
Responsabilità
* Medical degree (MD); advanced degree (PhD, PharmD) highly preferred
* 12+ years in medical affairs or related roles within medical device/pharma with leadership experience
* Class III Medical Device experience
* Extensive EP clinical practice experience and AFib expertise
* Strong knowledge of clinical trial design, regulatory requirements, and healthcare compliance
* Experience with EMA interactions and health authority submissions
* Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams in a complex matrix organization
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
