Position Information
Datalogic is seeking a Junior Operations Controller to be a key member of the Operations Controlling Team. The role involves supporting month-end closing activities, analysis, and reporting on operational performance. The position is based at Datalogic HQ in Lippo di Calderara (BO).
Role Mission
The Junior Operations Controller will assist the Senior Controller and the Group Operations Control Manager in daily activities and month-end closing tasks related to both Plants and Central Operations Functions. The goal is to monitor, control, and improve the efficiency and profitability of production processes through data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives, while ensuring adherence to company standards and goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in material ledger preparations, provisions calculation (warranty, obsolescence), analysis and reporting of OPEX and CAPEX, and consolidation of plant financials.
* Perform monthly activities according to the Financial Closing Calendar.
* Support the financial closing process, generate reports, and analyze the actual performance of plants and operations.
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring high-quality data input.
Qualifications/Requirements
* Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics.
* Fluent in English (written and verbal); good Italian skills.
* At least 3 years of experience in Planning & Control, with 2 years in Operations Controlling, preferably in complex multinational environments.
Additional Skills & Attributes
* Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
* Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems and Power BI is a plus.
* Strong business acumen, attention to detail, analytical skills, and reliability.
* Enthusiastic, motivated, curious, and eager to learn.
* Ability to work independently and in team environments within a fast-paced setting.
* Results-oriented mindset.
