What You’ll Get to Do
As a CACI-SOAS USAREUR-AF Digital Forensics Scientist, you will support US Army Europe / Africa G2 and other Intelligence-related mission partners, providing professional services in advisory and analysis efforts related to Command, Control, Cyber, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) mission areas.
You will monitor and provide expertise regarding specific countries within USAREUR-AF’s AOR / AOI and plan / organize USAREUR-AF G2X’s analytical engagement with NATO and other foreign partner agencies.
More About the Role
You will be embedded at Del Din in Vicenza, Italy, with potential travel to other locations within USEUCOM or US AFRICOM AOR or AOI to meet mission requirements in both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
The USAREUR-AF TMISS Team will research, analyze, and produce assessments on terrorism / counterterrorism and multi-discipline counter-intelligence issues to support USAREUR-AF’s priority intelligence requirements and enable U.S. and foreign partner operations.
Other duties include:
* Delivering training on digital information collection, exploitation, analysis, and reporting.
* Using tactics, techniques, and procedures specific to MEDEX / CELLEX for acquisition, exploitation, analysis, and reporting.
* Procurement and analysis of MEDEX / CELLEX equipment, software, and peripherals.
* Ensuring software updates for the SETAF-AF MEDEX / CELLEX equipment.
* Maintaining mission-ready DOMEX equipment, including deployable kits.
* Performing virus and malware scans on electronic devices returning from deployment.
* Researching latest exploitation techniques.
* Training and inventory management of biometric equipment.
* Providing recommendations on emerging digital forensics capabilities.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
* MA / MS +8 Years Experience in Cybersecurity Forensics
* Expertise in Cyber Forensics tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
* Current TS-SCI Clearance
* Excellent communication skills
Nice to Have
* Cybersecurity Forensics certifications such as GIAC Battlefield Forensics and Acquisition (GBFA), GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE), GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA)
* Recent experience in a Cybersecurity Forensics role within Intelligence Community or DoD
