Flexibility in working with both design and production teams is required to ensure that a varied range of projects are fulfilled to the best of the team’s ability. /h3h3strongType: /strongFull-TimestrongExperience: /strong7 Years+strongFunction: /strongEngineeringem, /emproduction strongLocation: /strong Pisa, Italy /h3h3strongJOB DESCRIPTION: /strong /h3h3Coordinate and manage external engineering companies contracted by Palmer Johnson Yachts related to systems. /h3h3Responsible for PID design of all shipboard mechanical and electrical systems. /h3h3Design marine mechanical systems by applying principles of mechanics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials. /h3h3Optimize systems design and engineering for manufacturing, by researching cutting edge manufacturing and assembly methods and materials. /h3h3Understand critical interfaces between structure, systems and interior design. /h3h3Develop marine mechanical and electrical systems in line with vessel specifications. /h3h3Responsible for systems compliance with regulatory bodies. To include diagram submission review of Design Appraisal Documents to the following societies: “MCA, SOLAS, Lloyd’s,DNV RINA”.
