The farmer is in the barn at 5am. The vet is reviewing dozens of farms from her office. The geneticist wants population-level signals. One platform. Radically different users. Your job is to make it feel effortless for all of them.
Si candidi tempestivamente! È previsto un elevato volume di candidati per il ruolo descritto di seguito, non aspetti a inviare il suo CV.
THE COMPANY
Milkline has spent 50 years at the core of the dairy industry. Our team has been a driving force in the major steps of the connected animal revolution — contributing to how the industry thinks about process quality, animal health, and data-driven farm management.
Now we're launching a new venture that applies continuous IoT sensing, advanced proprietary algorithms, and AI-native interfaces to transform how livestock health and performance are understood — in real time, at scale, at the animal level.
The science is validated. The hardware is field-proven. We're now building the platform.
THE ROLE
The intelligence layer is being built. Now we need the interface that makes it actionable.
Our philosophy is radical simplicity — the people using this platform are not sitting at a desk in ideal conditions. They need information that is immediate, clear, and available anywhere. At the same time, different stakeholders have profoundly different needs, and the platform needs to serve all of them without compromise.
The hardware is field-validated and the science is proven — built by a team that knows this industry inside out. Now we're assembling the software team that will take it to market and scale it globally. You'll be among the first to join, with a direct line to the CTO and a voice in shaping the product.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
→ 4–8 years of frontend engineering in production — not just beautiful UIs, but resilient, maintained ones that real users depend on every day
→ React or Vue.js with TypeScript — you write components others want to reuse; you know modern state management and server-state patterns (React Query, Zustand or equivalent)
→ Mobile-first instinct — you design for the worst conditions first, not the ideal ones; offline-first and progressive enhancement are not new concepts to you
→ Real-time data & API integration — WebSockets, streaming updates, optimistic UI; you know how to keep an interface reactive when data changes continuously
→ Complex data visualization — you've made dense, dynamic data readable and actionable for non-technical users; you know at least one modern library (Recharts, Tremor, Observable Plot)
→ AI-native interface patterns — you understand the UX of systems that act, not just respond; you've designed for streaming responses, agent state, and non-deterministic interactions
→ Multilingual from day one — i18n is not an afterthought; the platform launches across multiple European markets
→ English fluency is mandatory — working language of the team, codebase, and product; Italian is a plus
NICE TO HAVE
→ Experience in agricultural, veterinary, healthcare, or industrial interfaces — domain empathy accelerates everything
→ Background in agentic AI product UX — you've designed for systems that act, not just respond
→ Familiarity with design systems and component library ownership
