Ensures that strategy aligns with global MillerKnoll IT strategy. Maximizes the use of technology by partnering with business leaders to understand their needs. Manages local teams and partners with global technical teams to ensure we deliver reliable, secure and efficient technology to both our internal and external customers.We are looking for someone with ERP implementation, applications leadership as well as infrastructure experience. We realize these are broad requirements, but if you have led ERP implementations and you have experience working in the manufacturing industry, we encourage you to apply.Essential FunctionsWork with key stakeholders to define and implement an IT strategy for Knoll Europe.Recommend the selection or development of technology and infrastructure to deliver the agreed IT strategy and business outcomes.Lead the Knoll Europe ERP implementation and other critical technology initiatives to support business growth.Collaborate with the global technical team to implement system and infrastructure integration initiatives.Ensure business continuity plans are maintained and tested, and that all legal and SOX requirements are met.Manage routine IT operations activities (e.g., backup, patches, help desk, etc.).Manage the annual budget (operating and capital expenditure) to align with IT and company objectives.Oversee talent management, including hiring, coaching, and development of technology teams.Communicate business strategy, values, and financial results to team members.Required Skills And AbilitiesExperience in mentoring and developing staff, building teams, and achieving goals through others.Experience managing IT systems, processes, and vendors.Strong communication skills to explain digital concepts to business leaders and vice versa.Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes and leading end-to-end ERP implementations in complex manufacturing settings.Ability to control costs and manage budgets effectively.Ability to review business performance and implement corrective actions.Maintain close contact with business partners to gauge service levels and resolve issues.Open to ideas, able to evaluate options, manage risks, and make reasoned decisions.Effective in guiding and managing change in dynamic environments.Foster excellent relationships with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and trade unions.Education and experienceBachelor's degree in technology or related field; MBA preferred.At least 7 years in IT management within an international business environment; 3 years managing an IT department in manufacturing; experience with third-party contracts.At least 10 years implementing integrated ERP solutions.At least 5 years using formal project management methodologies.Experience working across multiple time zones in a global environment.Resource managementManage an annual CapEx ($0.5M–$1M) and OpEx ($1.5M–$2M).Manage a team of 8 to 12 employees or contractors.Reporting lineReports to the VP of Enterprise Application in the US.Who We Hire?We hire qualified applicants from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
