Synergie Italia Spa, Monza branch, is seeking a candidate for a leading chemical company specializing in resin production, for the position of:
HSE ASSISTANT
Position
As an HSE Assistant, reporting directly to the HSE Manager, your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety laws, and coordinating prevention and protection measures to safeguard the environment and worker health and safety. Specifically, you will:
* Emergency Management: perform first aid interventions; train and coordinate emergency staff; inspect emergency equipment (fire and first aid); monitor PPE; liaise with external companies for specific inspections.
* Technical Services and Utilities: verify the proper functioning of equipment (e.g., steam generator, compressed air, water, methane, driving force); record operational data and consumption.
* Environment: manage biological wastewater treatment plants and rainwater systems; sample and perform instrumental analyses of water; manage emission control devices (e.g., combustors and wet scrubbers).
* Health and Safety: ensure safety regulations are followed by operators; verify and authorize hot work conditions; manage emergency calls and interventions; collaborate with RSPP to identify risks; oversee the plant in the absence of staff; manage alarm systems and respond to alarms outside office hours.
* Waste Management: identify waste types; ensure cleanliness and order in waste storage areas; label waste packaging for shipping as per regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications include:
* Technical diploma
* Previous experience as HSE Assistant or similar, preferably in chemical sectors
* Good knowledge of current health and safety regulations, emergency management, and Seveso Law
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are also required.
Additional Information
What is offered:
* Work Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), from Monday to Sunday, on continuous shifts with standby; eventual availability for day shifts.
* Salary and Contract: Industry-wide CCNL Chemical Sector, Level C1 (negotiable based on experience). Permanent contract.
* Work location: Macherio (MB)
