Supports other technicians on the team on technical issues and tools. Provides expertise and advice to the client on technical issues and problems. Writes technical documentation for the project, makes configurations and performs functional tests. Operates Secheron Hasler products on the train and trains the customer and internal technical staff.Depending on the fulfillment level of the below requirements, the candidate can be defined as Junior or Senior System Engineer.Responsibilities and Key TasksIn this position, you will perform the following:Requirements management for creating the System SpecificationGenerates and manages the technical project documentation and deliverables.Creating configurations for onboard electronic products like e.g. Event recorders, Energy Meter, Gateways.Specifies and executes system tests according to the project requirementsIs responsible for the correct configuration control of the project, for both Hardware and Software.For some products, it can be required to develop a PLC-based applicationTechnical interface with the customer and internal employeesSupports the technical work of the other engineers in the project teamSupports the customer in case of technical questions and problems during the customer projectPerforms the commissioning and training of the customer, mainly in EuropeDefine test equipment and tooling requirements and ensure their timely availabilitySupport to RD for validation of new HW and SW solutionsSupport to product management for standardized solutions with 3rd party componentsQualificationsYou ideally bring the following:University degree in a technical field such as (IT/OT)Minimum 5 years of experience (only applicable to seniors)Ability to prioritize and organize activities and to generate and maintain a project scheduleHave worked on railway projects, an advantage if the projects concerned safety developmentAbility to identify project risks and opportunitiesEnjoyment of working independently and in a teamHaving excellent communication skillsKnowledge of both spoken and written Italian and English is mandatory, knowledge of German is an advantage.Preferred qualifications are:Good knowledge of railway standard EN50126, EN50155, EN50463Advantage of security standards IEC62443-4 and ISO27001Knowledge of French both spoken and writtenWe give our employees full responsibility for their work tasks.
