Approximately 24.000 employees in 22 countries dedicate their efforts in laboratory diagnostics to human medicine. /ppbResponsibilities: /b /pulliTo support the development and implementation of a global lab footprint strategy to optimize the distribution of special chemistry, toxicology and drugs of abuse laboratories and testing sites across regions. /liliIdentify and support the consolidation, expansion, and relocation opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery. /liliTo support CAPEX related to laboratory projects infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business growth and regulatory requirements. /liliTo support the standardization of lab processes across all regions to enhance operational performance and cost efficiency. /liliTo support the design, construction, and maintenance of state-of-the-art laboratories to support evolving diagnostic capabilities). /liliEnsure compliance with industry standards (ISO 15189, ISO 17025, GMP, etc.) for laboratory design and operations. /liliEnsure compliance with CE-IVDR regulation /liliImplement automation digitalization in lab processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. /liliCollaborate with IT Digital teams to integrate Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and other smart lab technologies. /li /ulh3Operational Excellence Cost Optimization /h3ulliImplement Lean Six Sigma principles to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance turnaround times. /liliBenchmark and development of operational KPIs across labs to identify areas for continuous improvement and standardizations across labs. /liliTo advise the optimization of resource utilization to reduce operational costs without compromising quality and compliance. /liliTo be the projects liaison between 3L team and the medical, Group and country, communities. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Clinical chemistry, Supply Chain, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field. /liliMinimum 10+ years of experience in special chemistry lab operations, engineering within diagnostics, healthcare, or life sciences. /liliDeep knowledge of lab workflows, regulatory requirements, and automation technologies. /liliExperience in facility planning, CAPEX investments, and lab engineering projects. /liliProven ability to work under cross-functional environment international teams. /liliKnowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies. /liliFamiliarity with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) and automation trends in lab operations. /liliMaster in clinical chemistry: desirable /liliLocation: Germany or Italy /liliLanguages: Fluent in English.
