Ph3Position Overview: /h3 pThe Space Production Mechanical Engineer (AIT) will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components for satellites. The role will involve all stages of design, prototyping, testing, and validation, with the goal of ensuring that all components meet the high standards of quality, safety, and performance required for the space industry. /p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 h31. Mechanical Design /h3 ul liDesign, develop, and optimize mechanical components for micro and small satellites, considering technical specifications, materials, and manufacturing solutions. /li liCreate 3D models and detailed technical drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, etc.). /li liCollaborate with engineering teams to integrate mechanical components into space systems, ensuring that all components are optimized for the space environment. /li /ul h32. Analysis and Simulation /h3 ul liPerform structural, thermal, and vibration analyses to verify the performance of components under extreme operational conditions, such as launch and orbit. /li liUse simulation software (e.g., ANSYS) to test and validate the behavior of materials and mechanical components. /li liProvide solutions to optimize mechanical performance and reduce the risk of failure. /li /ul h33. Testing and Validation /h3 ul liPlan, execute, and analyze test campaigns for mechanical components, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality requirements. /li liCollaborate with the Testing and Integration team to ensure components are ready for the assembly process and final integration into the satellite. /li liPropose improvements based on test results to optimize the robustness of components. /li /ul h34. Documentation and Reporting /h3 ul liPrepare and maintain technical documentation related to designs, specifications, and design changes. /li liCreate test and analysis reports to document the validation of components and design solutions. /li liEnsure that documentation complies with company standards and space industry regulations (ECSS, NASA, ISO). /li /ul h35. Project Management /h3 ul liWork closely with engineering and production teams to ensure that design activities are completed on time and within budget. /li liMonitor the progress of projects, promptly addressing any technical issues that may arise during development. /li /ul h36.
