Position: Cyber Security System Engineer
As a leading company within the Fastweb group in the Cyber Security domain, we are seeking a Cyber Security System Engineer to further develop our Delivery team. The ideal candidate has experience in implementing security solutions and will be responsible for installing, configuring, and integrating key technologies available in the market, with 7Layers being a partner at client sites in central and southern Italy.
Responsibilities:
* Support the Cyber Security Architect during the design phase;
* Critically analyze project documentation;
* Review detailed vendor documentation (manuals, technical guides, white papers, etc.);
* Install, configure, and integrate main market products (NGFW, DLP, WAF, IPS/IDS, proxy, networking devices, anti-spam, anti-malware, SIEM, etc.) at client sites;
* Coordinate with the technical project manager to ensure progress;
* Maintain a good understanding of networking: logical/physical addressing, routing and switching, TCP/IP, UDP, FTP, DNS, DHCP protocols;
* Possess good knowledge of Routers, Firewalls, NGFW, WAF, IPS/IDS;
* Understand the operation of Windows, Linux, ESXi operating systems;
* Minimum experience in system administration;
* Experience in documentation writing;
* Proficiency in English (Level B1/B2).
