Product Development Engineer
Responsibilities
* Innovate & Develop: Design new products and enhance existing ones by developing raw materials, processes, and product parameters that support our business strategy.
* Project Leadership: Define, plan, and execute projects, seeing them through from conception to successful implementation.
* Customer-Centric Support: Work alongside our commercial team and provide technical expertise to customers, ensuring seamless product integration and addressing any challenges.
* Optimization & Quality Control: Establish product specifications and implement productivity, capacity, and quality improvements.
* Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of industry trends and advancements through research and networking, incorporating new materials, processes, and competitive insights into product development.
Qualifications
* Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Material Science (advanced degree or relevant experience is a plus).
* Professional Experience: 1-3 years in product development, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
* Skills: Strong project management and analytical problem-solving abilities, along with knowledge of scientific and engineering principles.
* Languages: Professional-level English and Italian.
* Travel Availability: Willingness to travel internationally (20-30%) to engage with customers and internal teams.
