The candidate will report directly to the plant director and will be responsible for the management and development of the maintenance system and team of the plant, in collaboration with all the other functions. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage and implement maintenance (extraordinary, preventive, scheduled and emergency) and oversee their correct application including related reporting and maintenance record keeping. /li liCoordinate maintenance criteria for all the equipment, both production and facility, in order to minimize general malfunctions and production breakdowns due to failures. /li liHighlighting possible machines’ downtime problems, in the various departments, identifying maintenance tasks and assigning activities and priorities. /li liControl and manage the reordering of spare parts and calls to external suppliers for technical support or intervention needs. /li liElaborate, propose and manage the technological modernization plan of production facilities in line with the company strategy and product mix. /li liSupervise plant modifications and related layouts, in compliance with the set time and costs. /li liResearching, evaluating and monitoring the main plant and technology suppliers and keeping updated about technological developments in the sector. /li liEnsuring that all maintenance activities managed by internal or external parties are carried out according to established safety procedures. /li liEnsure that all maintenance activities comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including mandatory inspections and certifications (e.g., grounding system checks, pressure vessel testing, lifting equipment inspections, and fire safety systems). /li liManage the Maintenance Budget and develop management and cost control indicators. /li liManage and develop the maintenance team. /li /ul h3Required Competencies /h3 ul liTechnical or engineering degree and/or background is required. /li liAt least 5 years of experience in a similar position within a manufacturing company. /li liExperience in a multinational company in the plastic sector is a plus. /li liExcellent organizational and planning skills are needed. /li liStrong leadership skills and excellent ability in managing people, suppliers and internal stakeholders are pivotal. /li liGood teamwork approach, proactivity and flexibility are required by the role and environment in which will operate. /li liFluent English is compulsory. /li /ul pAre you the one we are looking for?
