Your Responsibilities
* Develop, improve and maintain the overall charging functions and the associated power management functions, such as power sharing, cooling/derating, grid control, battery storage systems, vehicle-to-grid (V2G) and depot charging
* Develop and extend the charging interface between EVs, EVSEs and the grid in line with new standards and market trends (MCS, bi-directional power transfer and load balancing)
* Deliver the best power sharing functionalities on the market
* Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis of field issues
* Accompany interoperability and conformance tests
Your Qualifications & Skills
* Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar
* Previous relevant work experience
* Strong proficiency in C/C++ or Python
* Proficient with version control systems (GIT) and build environments
* Knowledge of control theory, energy systems, or real-time optimization
* Experience with simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink
* Familiarity with energy and charging standards is a plus
* Autonomous and solution-oriented work style, as well as analytical thinking
* Enthusiasm, good communication skills and ability to work in a team
* Fluent in English, as well as German and/or Italian
