Datalogic is looking for a BU Controller, this position will be a key member of Planning & Control and will actively contribute in shaping the future of Datalogic’s success inside the controlling team in Calderara di Reno (BO).
ROLE MISSION
The role will be responsible for supporting the ISM (Industrial Scanning & Marking) Control Manager and preparing management reporting for the Board of Directors and for the Management, ensuring the analysis of variances against budget and forecasts, with respect to P&L, KPIs and investments are explained.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Monthly and quarterly analysis and reporting according to Company deadlines
* Support to Budgeting and Forecasting activities
* Support on ad-hoc analysis regarding product profitability and projects returns
* Monitor Sales and margin evolution and analyze variances vs. Budget and prior years’ results
* Support the implementation of new Business analytic tools.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Education: Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics
Language: Fluent English; written and verbal communication
Experience: 1-3 years of proven controlling expertise in complex multinational environments, in companies where the control is deeply involved into the business.
OTHER INFORMATION & SPECIFIC SKILLS
* Knowledge of the main MS Office tools (excellent Excel and PowerPoint proficiency)
* Accounting and strong numeric and analytical skills, detail-orientation
* Highly organized with a reliable working method
* Business acumen
* Ability to work proactively and in a support role
* Highly driven with an ability to work effectively both under own initiative and in a fast paced and challenging context.
* Curious, willing to learn attitude
* Team worker, good communication and listening skills
* Willing to travel would be considered as a plus
