Overview
COOLTECH Srl, a company specialised in the production of components and systems for the liquid cooling of electrical and electronic devices, is seeking an ELECTRICAL SYSTEM ENGINEER
The selected candidate will report to the Technical Department Manager (R&D Manager) and work in a Project Management context.
Mission
The selected candidate will enhance the product's performance, reliability, and economic sustainability through innovation, creativity, and robust engineering. This includes not only electrical aspects but also system-level design, from initial concept and detailed development to final design validation, ultimately supporting the product throughout its entire lifecycle.
Duties and responsibilities
During the sales phase of potential projects:
* Supporting customer requirements analysis.
* Developing preliminary product concepts.
* Performing preliminary component selection.
During the NPI process of projects
* Developing the product at the level of:
* Electrical Engineering
* Providing support (independently and as part of a team) in:
* PLC/Firmware Engineering
* Contributing (independently and as part of a team) to:
* Product validation, certification and testing
* FMEA and reliability analysis
* Project administrationCollaborating with other company departments:
* Production Engineering
* Purchasing Department
* Quality
During the product manufacturing phase
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
Qualifications
* Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Automation Engineering.
* At least 3 years' previous experience as a design engineer in a technologically advanced company involved in product, plant or machine development.
* Design of hydraulic, electrical and control system concepts.
* Selection of hydraulic, electronic and electrical components.
* Drafting of hydraulic and electrical diagrams.
* System and control simulations.
* Firmware design (Embedded C/C++).
* CE, UL, IEC, SEMI certification.
* Knowledge of thermal management is preferred.
* Knowledge of mechanical design.
* Excellent knowledge of English.
* Proficiency with E-Plan, SolidWorks Electrical.
* Proficiency with MatLab / SimuLink.
* Good knowledge of LabVIEW.
* Good knowledge of firmware/PLC development.
* Knowledge of SolidWorks CAD is preferred.

Working hours
full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
