Plant senior technologist

PIn this role you drive the plant's food technology governance to ensure Barilla quality and robust line capabilities. You work with product, packaging, process development and industrialization teams to support trials, launch new products and technologies, and improve process stability. You will develop the plant’s technical know‑how and train personnel while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. A key focus is delivering reliable packaging and process performance, aligned with category experts and quality governance, at scale in Foggia. /pulliDefine and improve the plant's technology and process standards in coordination with cross-functional teams /liliIdentify opportunities to raise product quality through process standard evolution /liliMonitor packaging line performance, deviations and implement corrective actions /liliLead or contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance quality, efficiency, and process capability /liliProvide technical support for industrial trials of new products, technologies, raw materials, and growth initiatives (including DTV and PCM) /liliPrepare, execute and document industrial trials with collaboration across Product Development, Packaging Development, Process Development and Industrialization /liliMonitor process parameters, perform diagnostics and root-cause analyses, and propose corrective actions /liliEscalate significant deviations to Plant Quality and contribute to recovery plans /liliContribute to CAPA plans with Quality, Industrialization and Packaging Development /liliCheck production processes with technical instruments and ensure accuracy of specifications /liliManage molds, dies and tooling and support line restarts after maintenance /liliSupport a culture of technological excellence and training through leadership and collaboration in the plant /liliParticipate in daily leadership activities and decision‑making with other plant functions /liliMaster's degree in a relevant field /liliMinimum 4 years in technical/technological roles in production or RDQ, with leadership in cross-functional initiatives /liliStrong leadership presence and ability to influence stakeholders /liliProven track record delivering results in fast-paced environments /liliAbility to manage multiple priorities and drive structured project execution /liliStrong analytical, problem solving and decision making capabilities /liliExperience in project management and capability development of technical teams /liliProficiency in statistical analysis and data-driven process evaluation /liliLean or Six Sigma training/certification is a plus /liliFluency in Italian and English with strong communication across levels /li /ulIn this role you drive the plant's food technology governance to ensure Barilla quality and robust line capabilities.
