You will join feature teams, working in an Agile environment (SAFe framework), contributing to the delivery of features within Program Increments (12‑week cycles). This role is well suited for freelancers or independent consultants looking to work on complex automotive embedded projects. /p h3What You’ll Be Doing /h3 ul liArchitect and validate the hardware‑rooted Chain of Trust /li liManage secure boot flow from Qualcomm PBL → Linux kernel → user space /li liDefine and implement PKI strategy /li liManage certificate lifecycle; code‑signing authorities; PKCS standards (especially PKCS#11) /li liEnable secure interaction with HSM / TrustZone /li liDesign and implement SELinux policies /li liEnforce least privilege principles /li liPerform security audits across system services /li liDesign and integrate real‑time intrusion detection mechanisms /li liMonitor anomalous behavior; protocol violations; unauthorized access /li liParticipate in Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) /li liAlign with ISO/SAE 21434 /li liIdentify attack vectors and define mitigation strategies /li liEnsure secure software update (OTA) processes /li liPrevent rollback attacks and unauthorized firmware injection /li liDesign cryptographic validation mechanisms /li /ul h3What You’ll Bring Along /h3 ul liDegree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field /li liMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar position /li liStrong experience with Qualcomm security architecture: Trusted Execution Environment (TEE); TrustZone; Secure MSM /li liDeep understanding of asymmetric symmetric cryptography, hashing algorithms, PKCS standards /li liExpertise in SELinux policy development (targeted / MLS); Linux hardening (namespaces, kernel protection) /li liStrong knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434 and UN R155 / R156 /li liExperience with MACSec (IEEE 802.1AE) and MKA protocol /li liExperience with automotive Ethernet security /li liExperience with embedded Linux/Yocto and security layers (meta‑security, dm‑verity, secure mounts) /li liExpert‑level C++ (C++14 / C++17 / C++20) /li liExperience with multithreading, async programming, memory management /li liExperience with automotive telematics systems is nice to have /li liBackground in HSM integration is nice to have /liliExperience in large‑scale embedded architectures is nice to have /li liExposure to secure communication stacks is nice to have /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
