Req ID: 483677 Purpose of the job: The Project Contract Manager (PrCM) is a key member of the project team, working closely with the Project Manager and core project team. He/she provides guidance and leadership to develop, implement, and drive contract/claim management and risk mitigation strategies in line with Alstom’s business objectives, including extensions of time (EoTs), variation orders, and contract amendments. He/she ensures proper record keeping and file preparation to support robust claim files. Key accountabilities: Ensures application of Contract, Claims and Insurance Management Manual (CCIM) and Alstom governance. Prepares Contract Summary, ensures it is widely communicated and regularly updated. Analyzes the contract to develop and implement a Contract/Claim Management Strategy Plan. Ensures elaboration of the Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) by project team members is timely, accurately communicated, and updated. Monitors progress towards contract obligations and contractual milestones. Ensures timely issuance of contractual notices to customers/partners. Establishes and implements project-specific commercial procedures regarding correspondence, notifications, insurance, variation requests/orders, and claims files. Maintains reliable filing and easy access to correspondence with customers/partners. Analyzes incoming and outgoing correspondence to manage communication effectively. Develops project-specific processes and methods for contract/claim management. Creates a pragmatic commercial approach based on contractual analysis to protect Alstom’s interests daily.
