For our own projects, we are looking for a Piping Field Engineer;
Purpose of the Role:
Manage the interface between Engineering and Construction for all matters relating to technical issues that arise during the construction, mechanical completion, precommissioning, and commissioning phases, providing adequate technical support for structural and piping disciplines;
Purpose
* Verify the suitability and expertise of the detailed and construction engineering departments with a view oriented toward the execution phase;
* Support the Construction Manager in preparing the tender specifications for the structural and piping assembly works;
* Ensure coordination in resolving technical issues arising on site, reporting to the PEM and collaborating with it in resolving them, thanks to direct knowledge of any construction aspects and impacts;
* Implement, after approval by the Project Engineering Manager, any changes to the engineering, with the corresponding updates to the project documents (red mark-ups) during construction and at the final stage;
* Provide technical support to the Construction Supervisors in the technical analysis of the project documents and in the direct resolution—or with the assistance of the Engineering Service for the structural and piping disciplines—of technical issues that arise during the construction, mechanical completion, precommissioning, and commissioning phases;
* Collaborate with the Commissioning Manager in the preparation of the commissioning engineering and provide technical support for this activity during the implementation phase.
