Job Description
As Material Specialist, you will be responsible for:
* Management of direct material (new and repaired) request, placing and following up on purchase orders. It will include quotation management (technical & commercial approval), alignment of PO price and management of the relationship with vendor for PO execution, check the status of PO and manage changes.
* Applying Sourcing Policy with 100% compliance.
* Advising functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma) or equivalent knowledge or work experience.
* Proven experience in Procurement/Sourcing or similar operational activities.
* Proven experience in the aviation or oil and gas industry, or industrial background will be appreciated.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
* Be flexible in a dynamic environment.
* Fluency in Italian and English, in writing and speaking.
* Knowledge of Oracle ERP and/or basic Python (or similar) programming skills is considered as a plus
