Redstone Commodity Search are working with an agricultural trading house looking to hire a Senior Trade Support specialist to join their team in Europe.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
* Manage and validate the full post-trade process, including contract review, trade capture, documentation control, shipment coordination, and settlement accuracy.
* Ensure all transactions comply with applicable international trade regulations, customs procedures, and internal policies, including oversight of import/export documentation.
* Identify and resolve trade discrepancies, settlement breaks, and documentation issues; implement controls to reduce operational and financial risk.
* Act as a primary liaison between trading, logistics, finance, and external stakeholders; lead initiatives to improve workflows, reporting accuracy, and system efficiency.
Key Qualifications / Experience
* 5+ years of experience in trade support, trade operations, or commodity operations within a physical trading or international trade environment.
* Strong understanding of international trade documentation, Incoterms, customs procedures, and trade finance processes.
* Proficiency in trade management systems and advanced Excel; strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
* Fluent in English and Italian.
* Located or willing to relocate to Italy, Spain or Slovenia.
