The position is based on our offices in Pistoia, Roma, Genova and Bologna.

Job Purpose
The Site Manager is responsible to oversee and coordinate railway infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and delivering the project on time and within budget.
This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in multicultural environments and adapt to local regulations and practices.
He / She represents the Company on the site and is the main intermediary between the Project Manager of the contract and the construction management.
Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesManage on-site subcontractors and external resources appointed by Project Manager for project site activities execution and assure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.
Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities related to railway infrastructure (track laying, signaling, electrification, civil works, etc.).
Ensure the application of the rules in force within the site boundaries.
Coordinate and plan activities for equipment start-up and commissioning in collaboration with the Project Manager, coordinating Test & Commissioning engineers (in collaboration with V&V; Manager) and checking the progress and quality of the work carried out.
Prepare site accounts, supporting Project Manager for project accounting and joining progress meetings with customers and subcontractors.
Verify proper provisioning of materials at the work site, maintaining records of the project materials inventory.
Oversee on-site safety requirements verification and application.
Produce reports and documentation required by law and by Health and Safety System.
Ensure full compliance with environmental and fire prevention regulations, including by checking that subcontractors comply with the regulations in force.
Interface with the Project Manager of the contract, establishing periodic reporting and scheduled meetings.
Apply Quality File documentation and archives (POS).
Be available for management activities carried out by phone.
Be available on call for site activities related to tickets and intervention under Warranty regime, assuring first intervention and organizing second level actions if required.
Be available to provide attendance on multiple sites for different projects.
QualificationsHigh school diploma preferable if electronic technical institute

IS1 course certificate
Qualification for security officer (Preposto alla Sicurezza) according to D. Lgs.
81 / 08
Experience with FIDIC contracts or similar international standards
On-site protection course certificate
Previous experience in the role (min. 5 years)
Ability to use measuring instruments
Flexible mentality and precision
Good relational skills
Ability to manage resources
Good relationship skills with the final customer and subcontractors
Good relationship skills with other Company structures to give and receive cooperation
Technical support to the customer for critical failures on strategic facilities
Availability to travel both in Italy and abroad (80% of total working hours)
Good knowledge of English Language (spoken and written)
