For our client, multinational operating in the IT Sector, we are looking for an: Accounting Specialist. The person we are seeking will be involved in Finance and Accounting activities for the French entities of the Group, reporting to the International Accounting Manager. Activities include but are not limited to: - Monitoring the day-to-day financial operations within the companies; - Overview the automated processes for sales, purchases, AR, AP; - Intercompany and bank reconciliation; - Non-Trade Accounts payables, prime entries; - Cash management and reporting, support payment preparation; - Maintain strong knowledge of accounting and finance practices; - Maintain and reviewing financial records, including Fixed Assets Ledger, payroll postings, month end closing accruals; - Ensure the integrity of accounting information by verifying and recording transactions; - General accounting, VAT return, in liaison with local tax and legal consultants ensuring correct calculation of monthly VAT and correct calculation of the taxable income; VAT reports, Journal Book, and other indirect tax returns; - Interact directly with the auditors to discuss and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner; - Continuous improvement of processes and controls; - Support on ad hoc projects. Qualifications and Profile: - Proven experience in a Finance and Accounting role previously; - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting; - Fluent in English, Italian and French; - Advanced knowledge of excel and SAP; - Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, and standards; - Strong analytical, organizational, and verbal as well as written communication skills.
