Social network you want to login / join with : Job Description : Medical Affairs Professional in the Pharmaceutical Industry For our dynamic and growing Brands division within an established international pharmaceutical company, we are seeking an experienced Medical Affairs field professional. This role requires someone who dares to think beyond traditional pharma MSL roles and wishes to operate autonomously in an entrepreneurial manner. The position offers opportunities for broad development across all aspects of the business and the management of your own daily activities. You will be part of a team of 3 Medical Managers in Italy, responsible for developing and executing Medical Affairs strategies and projects, including scientific publications and advisory boards. You will also support Sales and Marketing colleagues, with an emphasis on identifying commercial opportunities. Candidates must reside in Italy and communicate fluently in English for collaboration with the European Management team, based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. You will report to the Lead Medical Managers Europe. Major Tasks & Responsibilities Develop Medical Affairs strategies and execute scientific projects such as publications and advisory boards. Build and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs and healthcare leaders, based on scientific and evidence-based information. Support product development and launch through scientific exchange, particularly in melanoma. Assist with Early Access Program requests for melanoma patients in Italy. Provide business support for Italian marketing, commercial, and market access activities related to Odomzo (sonidegib) for basal cell carcinoma. Lead the approval process for investigator-initiated trials and monitor their progress. Disseminate clinical and scientific information about marketed and pipeline compounds in a compliant and ethical manner. Establish links with networks in Derma-oncology and other therapeutic areas. Communicate emerging data to experts and respond to healthcare professional inquiries. Support colleagues in organizing HCP events with medical content support. Education & Qualifications Mandatory : (Bio)medical or scientific academic degree. Driver’s license. Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MSL or Medical Manager in the innovative pharmaceutical industry. At least 1 year of experience in a commercial role within the industry. Native Italian speaker and fluent in English. Desirable : Experience in Dermatology or Oncology. Desirable : Experience with Early Access Programs in Italy. Strong scientific knowledge. Strategic thinking skills. Knowledge of Dermatology or Oncology. Understanding of regulatory environment and compliance. Excellent teaching and presentation skills.
