The role
For our Padua Office, we are looking for an efficient and methodical individual to provide general administrative support to the firm. This role would suit an enthusiastic and pro-active person, who is keen to learn and develop their administration experience in a top tier international law firm. As part of an international environment, you will have the opportunity to actively use your English skills, including internal communications, document handling, and collaboration with colleagues across different offices.
Areas of focus and responsibilities
* General administrative support to relevant divisions, assisting fee earners and other colleagues
* Preparing letters and enclosures for mailing, including courier services
* Assisting with keeping e-files (and, occasionally, hard copy filing) up to date
* Maintaining firm's client relationship data
* Data entry in Excel and corporate systems
* Supporting the cataloguing and local purchase of books
* Any other ad hoc duties as required (such as travel booking, facilities coordination, errands, answering phone calls and taking complete and detailed messages)
Key skills and attributes
* Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's degree programme (Eligibility to enter into an internship agreement is a mandatory prerequisite)
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Good command of English
* The ability to manage self and prioritise workload effectively, with the ability to multi-task
* Organised and accurate with a high level of attention to detail
* Computer literate
* Commitment to support others
