Your Mission: We are looking for a proactive and curious Demand Planning Intern to join our EMEA Planning Team in Milan! In this role, you will support the team in the forecasting and planning activities for the region, gaining hands-on experience in data analysis, inventory management and cross-functional collaboration. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced planners, work with advanced planning tools, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes.
Key Responsibilities: As a Demand Planning Intern, you will support the team in: Assisting in the preparation of demand forecasts using internal planning tools and basic analytical models. Collaborating with Sales, Marketing and Finance to collect inputs and understand business drivers. Updating and maintaining dashboards, reports and KPIs to monitor forecast performance and inventory levels. Contributing to stock analysis and helping track slow movers, phase-in/phase-out items, and sell-out trends. Supporting the team in daily operations such as data validation, system updates, and documentation activities. Learning to use planning software and ERP systems to track demand and inventory flows. Participating in team meetings and S&OP routines to gain exposure to the end-to-end planning process.
The Ideal Candidate: Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Statistics or similar fields. Strong interest in demand planning, supply chain and data-driven decision-making. Good analytical skills with the ability to work with numbers and identify patterns. Familiarity with Excel; knowledge of ERP or BI tools is a plus (training provided). Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and willingness to learn. Team player with good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment. Proactive, organized, and flexible mindset. …and of course, a chocolate lover!
