About the Company ISMETT is a multi-organ transplant and highly specialized center, established through an international non-profit public-private partnership between the Region of Sicily, the Ri.MED Foundation, and UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center), which manages the center. The Italian Ministry of Health has recognized ISMETT as a Scientific Institute for Research, Hospitalization and Healthcare (IRCCS) in the discipline of "Care and research of end‐stage organ failure". The Institute is one of the few in Italy that has held Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation since 2009 and one of the 6 Italian hospitals certified at Stage 7 EMRAM, HIMSS. Position Our institution offers the opportunity to perform a short‐term observational training experience designed to observe ISMETT's activities in the medical‐healthcare or managerial‐administrative areas, in order to acquire a general overview of its organizational model, clinical specialties, and services provided. Observers may attend ISMETT for a maximum of 5 working days, not necessarily consecutive, and are not permitted to perform any hands‐on activities.
