Accountabilities The rule will require to understand vehicle system functions and analyse the diagnostic and maintenance data with the scope to: identify the cause of the fault and support the maintenance staff to repair it. Support the driver to manage the fault when it happens with the scope to reduce its effect on the vehicle mission. define requirements to develop algorithms that generate Automatic work orders to maintenance staff support design department to improve vehicle system design and functions support maintenance engineer department to improve maintenance plan and procedures Required Skills/Knowledge It is our expectation that successful applicants should be able to demonstrate all of the experience and skills listed below: From 2 to 4 years of experience in railway vehicle systems design or Vehicle maintenance engineer Expert to interpret electrical drawing, pneumatic drawings, system specification software specification and mechanical drawings Understanding of RCM principles and methodology Expert in Railway vehicle system functions Expert to analyze and correlate data from different sources (e.i. vehicle diagnostic events, maintenance reports, etc) Expert to define maintenance and troubleshooting procedures Able to perform statistical analysis including quality control. Able to use diagnostic tool Problem solving Education/Qualifications Electrical, Mechanical or Automation Engineering master Degree or equivalent technical background or equivalent technical background Languages Fluent Knowledge of English (written & spoken).
