The group is headed by a sound family concern, that directly manages and coordinates a pool of experts with a view to keeping abreast of all the latest trends, in order to guarantee high levels of quality at all times, balancing innovation, technology and tradition. Experience, ideas, and above all passion, are the driving forces that guide the Groupe Valadier on their constant search for excellence. We are seeking for the Hotel Valadier in Rome: Front Desk Manager - Requirements_ - Be eligible to work in Italy - At least 10 years of experience in 4/5 stars Hotels in the same rôle - Must be fluent in Italian and English. A third language will be a great plus! - Previous experience at an international level - Knowledge of Hotel Management software (e.g. Opera) - Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) - Ability to work well under pressure - Proven multitasking ability - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Fun & vibrant personality - Must be a team player - Able to take the heat when it gets a little crazy - Willing to step up to support your team when it counts - Excellent organizational skills - Duties & Responsibilities_ - Responsible for Front Desk team (feedback, performance review, progress) - Front Desk operations maintaining high standards at all times (check-in, check-out, billing, hotel and room orientation, providing information to Guests) - Engage a personalized, empathic and professional relationship with the Guests, in order to provide them unique experiences - Provide to each Guest a warm and smooth arrival and departure process - Handle emergencies according to the training - Daily reporting and closure - Expertise_ - Team Management (collaboration and evaluation) - Time Management (priorities) - Communication Skills (effective and appropriate ) - Leadership (by example) - Business orientation (understand and teach) - Self growing (sobriety and awareness) - Benefits_ - Competitive salary (based on experience) - Full time contract - Career progression within the company - Constant trainings and development - How to apply_ References are mandatory!
