The Patient Journey Manager will serve as a critical link between clinical partners, rehabilitation teams, and patients—ensuring seamless coordination across the entire treatment pathway. From initial patient selection through surgery and post-operative rehabilitation, you'll be the go-to expert guiding all stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
* Build strong working relationships with implanting centres and rehabilitation teams
* Provide hands-on training to clinical personnel, including visual rehab and low vision professionals
* Support and oversee the complete patient journey, including selection, surgery follow-up, and long-term rehab
* Collaborate closely with commercial and medical teams to activate new treatment centres
* Engage with patient groups, doctors, and referral networks to raise awareness and drive access to care
* Facilitate communication between surgical and rehab teams to ensure continuity and quality of care
* Identify and coordinate patient testimonials for awareness campaigns
* Act as a key contact for patient support challenges and incident reporting
Qualifications:
* Degree or qualification in Orthoptics, Optics, or a low vision-related field
* 3–5 years' experience in medical devices and/or pharmaceuticals, ideally within ophthalmology
* 3–5 years' experience in low vision rehabilitation
