The Role\nWe are looking for a Sales Lead. This is a rare opportunity to become a founding and important member of a growing, well‑funded startup. You’ll collaborate with Italy’s most premium and regarded restaurants. As a member of the local sales team, your role will focus on developing new relationships with restaurants.\nMore Specifically, You Will Lead, coordinate and mentor a team of Business Development Managers\nWork directly with the Regional Manager to facilitate business meetings with groups of restaurants considered high profile.\nGenerate new business opportunities through meetings with restaurant groups.\nConduct business negotiations for the acquisition of new customers. Requirements You must be comfortable with targeting new business and have sales experience\n4+ years of experience in commercial roles\n2+ years of experience managing a teamThe job requires experience speaking with partners, whether it be face‑to‑face, through phone or email\nExperience in demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients\nYou will need to be comfortable with negotiations\nKnowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus\nYou will need to be tenacious Why Deliveroo\nOur mission is to transform the way you shop and eat, bringing the neighbourhood to your door by connecting consumers, restaurants, shops and riders.
