OverviewThe Tax Expert will act as the primary tax advisor for VST, responsible for managing and overseeing the tax compliance and advisory activities for the company\ 's operations. The resource will ensure that the company adheres to local tax laws, multinational tax regulations, and international tax treaties while providing strategic tax planning and insights to support business decisions. This role is crucial in ensuring the company\ 's tax risks are effectivelymanaged and its tax obligations are met efficiently. It will act as Tax Expert and single point of contact for Vodafone Servizi e Tecnologie, a Vodafone Group owned company with ~900 employees in Italy performing activities in Network and Digital & IT areas. The role is part of an international HR team with opportunities to share best practices across 11 markets in Europe.ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary tax advisor for the company and oversee tax compliance and advisory activities.Ensure adherence to local tax laws, multinational tax regulations, and international tax treaties.Provide strategic tax planning and insights to support business decisions.Manage and communicate tax risks and ensure timely and accurate tax filings.Collaborate with regional and Group teams to align tax matters across markets.QualificationsBachelor's degree in taxation, accounting, finance, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax boutiques or in-house tax roles.Familiarity with VAT, direct and indirect taxes, and transfer pricing.Strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxes and transfer pricing mechanisms; ability to work with Group to align VST matters.Proficiency in tax research and document management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to advise management effectively.Fluency in English and Italian.BenefitsWe offer a supportive work environment with hybrid working and generous parental leave.
