Handle all front office cashiers' transactions, such as posting charges to guests, taking payments, and exchanging foreign currency according to procedures and balance cash float at the end of the shift.
Take charge of the guest booking process by overseeing all aspects of reservations.
Provide coverage for the night auditor's days off to ensure seamless operations and accurate financial reporting.
Coordinate room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying them of all group check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins and special requests.
Contribute to operational efficiency by identifying and recommending process improvements to streamline front desk procedures.
Monitor and analyze guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance overall guest experience.
Accommodate special requests whenever possible and suggestive selling techniques to upsell and promote other services of the hotel.
A minimum of a 1-years previous experience as receptionist is required.
Fluent in English, Italian proficiency preferred.
Proficiency in Opera Cloud is strongly desired.
Deep understanding of front office standards and best practices.
Proficient in hotel operations and technology integration.
the employment contract will initially be for a fixed term of 6 months
