Job OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Business Application Specialist to join our team!You will be responsible for gathering and understanding the requirements of our stakeholders within our supply chain and re manufacturing business and translating these requirements into IT solutions for the European components business.Working closely with various teams within our business, this role will involve the proposal, coordination, implementation and maintenance of supply chain and re manufacturing business solutions and applications, ensuring that they meet our IT business needs.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience in processes within a supply chain and re manufacturing business or consultancy and enjoys translating, configuring and implementing these business needs into an ERP system.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstanding and analyzing business requirements relating to supply chain and re manufacturing process changes and initiatives within our enterprise application functionTranslating business needs into functional specifications and collaborating with development and integration teams to deliver appropriate IT solutionsMapping and evaluating current business processes and IT systems, identifying areas for optimization, automation and standardizationSupporting the design, configuration, and maintenance of applications to supplement production, warehouse, purchasing and intercompany flowsParticipating in system testing, validation and user acceptance phases to ensure solution quality and business alignmentActing as key point of contact for supply chain and remanufacturing application topics, supporting continuous improvement initiativesSkills and ExperienceEducated to degree level in engineering or information systems, or has equivalent professional experience5+ years of experience in IT business analysis or application support within manufacturing, remanufacturing or distribution environmentsExperience working within international or multi-site organizations is desirableStrong understanding of supply chain and remanufacturing processes such as production planning, warehouse management, intercompany logistics, and bill of material/routing managementProven experience in business process analysis and in working with external vendors and internal teams to implement process changesGood knowledge of system integrations, data flows and reporting toolsExperience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, preferably Oracle and Microsoft DynamicsStrong analytical thinking, problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to coordinate multiple projects with stakeholders located across different teams and countriesFluent in both written and spoken English.BenefitsCompetitive basic salaryOpportunities to grow and develop yourselfRoom for initiatives and entrepreneurshipA hybrid working environment, involving home working and European travelEmployment Type: Full-timeThis job posting is open to all genders, in accordance with Laws 903/77 and 125/91, and to individuals of all ages and nationalities, in compliance with Legislative Decrees 215/03 and 216/03.
