Job Description:
DXC Technology is looking for a Junior Software Developer to be trained and involved in our teams.
You will receive specific training from day one on Full Stack technology, web programming, Spring framework, databases, and the opportunity to obtain specific certification: Scrum Foundation.
After a short training period, you will be involved in our application and web development projects.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and execute unit tests to implement portions of new or enhanced (upgrades or conversions) business and technical software solutions.
* Interact with project roles as required to understand the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction.
* Understand and utilize appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and technical problems.
* Stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.
* Develop applications using languages and processes such as Java EE, Spring Framework, Single Page Application frameworks, Microservices, Docker, Design patterns, architecture design, SQL and NoSQL databases, and software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps).
Education and Skills:
* Recently graduated in a technical field.
* Interested in web development tools for new applications.
* Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies.
* Nice to have: Experience and knowledge of Digital Development Services, Agile application development, DevOps, Cloud-based applications, and Microservices architecture and patterns.
The ideal profile has strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, results focus, decision-making skills, and the ability to work in teams.
Work Location: Rome with remote work possibility.
