Overview

Process Control Specialist/Logistics Analyst, European Central Flow Team (ECFT) — shape the future of global e-commerce at Amazon. You’ll orchestrate millions of daily orders and innovate advanced fulfilment solutions, supporting a vast network of Fulfilment Centres (FCs) operating 24/7 worldwide. As the primary escalation point for warehouses and the link between millions of daily orders and Amazon Associates, the PCS ensures seamless fulfilment operations. In this role, you’ll drive Europe‐level workflow planning, risk mitigation, and cost and capacity management, collaborate with FC partners, identify and rectify workflow variances, and manage the journey of orders from checkout to shipment. Our onboarding and matrix structure support your growth as you deliver, innovate, and expand your capabilities. We’re seeking problem-solvers with a keen eye for optimization, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels. Key job responsibilities
* Master Amazon's flow management tools and processes, becoming the go‐to interface for FC operations
* Innovate and implement metrics, conduct analyses to uncover optimization opportunities, and design scalable, standardized solutions
* Cultivate cross‐functional partnerships, translating complex concepts into accessible insights for stakeholders
* Own and influence critical performance indicators, including customer promise attainment, flow planning adherence, and site KPIs
* Teach peers and customers through knowledge‐sharing initiatives, developing and delivering training programs to elevate capabilities

A day in the life

Based in our European Central Flow Team offices in Barcelona, you’ll play a crucial role in optimizing operations across Europe’s Fulfilment Centres. Here’s what you can expect:

* Start of Shift: Handover, review network status, forecast volumes and capacities, and identify events that may impact forecasts; align with on‐site teams on priorities and metrics
* Throughout Your Shift: Connect with operations teams across Europe, create data‐driven plans using in‐house tools, refine staffing strategies, lead real‐time decisions, make strategic adjustments as information updates, maintain stakeholder communications
* End of Shift: Share insights and report key metrics, outline potential impacts for upcoming shifts, and communicate key updates and recommendations

The European Central Flow Team (ECFT) is a core part of Amazon's Fulfilment Centres network. We focus on capacity, risk, and workflow management with real‐time responsiveness and resource planning to ensure customer promises are kept and deliveries arrive on time, every time.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Proficient in English (European Framework level B2)
* Strong communication skills across multiple stakeholder groups
* Problem solver who is comfortable working with data to make critical decisions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Proficient in English (European Framework level B2) for clear communication across channels
* Ability to simplify and convey intricate ideas to diverse audiences
* Bias for action, able to work independently to triage issues and solve problems while judging escalation needs
* Attention to detail, comfortable with data to influence multiple stakeholders
