PpSavigliano site, Italy. /p pPosition: Project Quality and Safety Manager (PrQSM) /p h3Purpose of the job /h3 ul liSupport the Project Team to ensure project safety and quality assurance by coordinating all quality and safety activities throughout the project and act as the preferred interface for all métier quality requirements (Engineering, Industrial, Supplier). /li liEnsure that all Return Of Experience (REX) from each métier is considered in Risks Opportunities and closely monitor to prevent occurrences. /li liEnsure and improve tender quality during the tender phase when requested. /li /ul h3Customer Quality /h3 ul liServe as the interface with the Customer quality and safety teams. /li /ul h3Project Quality /h3 ul liEstablish the Project Quality plan and ensure its proper application during contract execution in accordance with contract requirements and Alstom processes. /li liSupport the project team and Project Manager to prepare gate reviews and follow up on related action plans. /li /ul h3Project execution controls /h3 ul liSupport the project Manager in preparing gate reviews and following up related action plans. /li liReport quality and safety alerts. /li liEnsure quality of modifications made during the project. /li liEnsure that safety assessment is correctly implemented (e.g. safety review) and prepare safety authorisation. /li liControl project deliverables compliance through inspection and audits to authorise presentation or delivery to the customer. /li liFacilitate the REX process within the project. /li /ul h3Measure and improve project quality performance /h3 ul liManage non-conformities and safety issues and facilitate problem solving during project execution to reduce non-quality costs. /li liImprove the efficiency of quality teams to reduce function costs. /li liEnsure the Engineering team is included in the customer issue‑solving process when needed. /li liDepending on the local organisation, the PrQSM may also oversee Industrial quality, Quality Management System and Supplier Quality Assurance activities. /li /ul h3Performance measurements /h3 ul liOn Time gate reviews shared with PMO DFQ Look Ahead. /li liNumber of remaining safety or customer issues to fix after agreed target time. /li liCost of non-quality and speed to solve non-conformities. /li /ul h3Educational Requirements /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Engineering with a management background, depending on project size. /li liExperience in managing quality tools and problem‑solving tools. /li liKnowledge of railway industry norms and certifications is an asset. /li /ul h3Experience /h3 ul liAware of processes and products delivered in the project. /li liFluency in English. /li liExperience in quality and audit is appreciated. /li /ul h3Skills Competencies – Technical Behavioral /h3 ul liRigor, communication, knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, IRIS, CMMI, ECM, etc.) and quality tools. /li liExperience in operational activities and documentation management. /li liCollaboration and team working. /li /ul h3Important to note /h3 pAs a global business, we are an equal‑opportunity employer that celebrates diversity across the 63 countries we operate in.
