The Role
\n
Under the broad direction of the Group Director, Population Screening and Cancer
\n
Prevention (PSCP), the primary objective of the Senior Policy and Project
\n
Officer is to work within the PSCP Directorate to deliver high level policy analysis and advice, draft high-level documentation and implement projects,
\n
aligned with the Directorate’s strategic policy agenda; and provide guidance to other team members as required Duties:
\n
Provide detailed advice and high-level analysis to the Group Director PSCP and senior managers on PCSP programs (including breast, lung, bowel and cervical screening, and the diagnostic breast imaging services), policy and processes to meet specified program advice.
\n
Undertake projects that contribute to the successful implementation of strategic initiatives and approved service priorities in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including review of project outputs and outcomes, and the preparation of project documentation, project status reports and communication strategies as required.
\n
Work collaboratively with managers and other team members to support the planning, coordination, development, monitoring, and delivery of specific projects.
