For our Topcon Training Centre located in Concordia Sulla Secchia (Modena – Italy) we are looking for an
Application Training Specialist (Internship)
Work Location: Concordia Sulla Secchia (Modena, Italy) – Topcon Training Centre
Job Type: Full-time Internship (6 months) before or after degree with a possibility of extension or hiring based on performance.
The Application Training Specialistwill support our training team in the Topcon Training Centre in Concordia Sulla Secchia ( MO).
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing innovative courses, to design training programs for employees and partners during the training activities. The application training specialist will assist trainers during the whole training process from needs analysis, preparation, delivery and feedback.
Internship Purpose
The successful candidate will learn by doing all topics related to training process and in the field activities such as:
1. Evaluate employee performance to understand where skills are lacking.
2. Create training programs to address skill gaps in employees.
3. Prepare learning materials for programs
4. Assist training delivery with contribution of knowledge in Satellite Navigation (GNSS)
5. Plan and implement an effective training curriculum.
6. Train and guide new employees.
7. Prepare hard copy training materials such as module summaries, videos, and presentations.
8. Proactive management of projects by leading them independently including activities reporting
The candidate should have a Survey/Civil/Construction Engineering degree and/or Telecommunication/Precision Agriculture degree and want to start a career as Trainer/instructor based on his technical knowledge/competencies acquired during universities studies/programs
The ideal candidate should have some of the following topics:
9. Basic knowledge in Satellite Navigation (GNSS), mathematical statistics;
10. GNSS Signal Analysis and Processing
11. GNSS Receiver Design and Implementation
12. GNSS Applications
13. GNSS Data Analysis and Interpretation
14. GNSS System Design and Analysis
15. GNSS Signal Interference and Mitigation
Other job requirements:
16. Experience in a training environment preferred
17. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
18. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
19. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with trainers, trainees, and other stakeholders
20. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
21. Fluent in Italian and English required ; knowledge of other European languages is a plus
Working Conditions:
22. Max 5% travelling EMEA wide
23. Will be required climb on heavy equipment
24. Flexible working opportunity based on activities on site
