Ph3Overview /h3pReports To: General Manager, France, BNL, SEU /ppJob Summary /ppThe Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering large-scale onshore wind turbine and potential BESS projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards within the geography of Italy and neighbouring countries. /ppA key aspect of this role is engaging with the global parent company and European Centre to adapt existing project management processes and tools for the local context. The candidate will demonstrate an open, collaborative mindset with a strong emphasis on building trusting relationships across cultures. They will have the autonomy and opportunity to innovate, shape ways of working, and drive continuous improvement in project delivery. /ppThe candidate will act as the main focal point for delivery of a Turbine Supply Agreement, acting to manage both Technical and Commercial aspects to deliver the contract and works safely. This role represents significant accountability and ownership. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliProject Planning Execution /liliAccountable for developing comprehensive project plans (scope, schedule, budget, resources) incorporating global best practices and local regulations. /liliCoordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (engineering, procurement, HSE, quality) and external stakeholders (contractors, suppliers, local authorities) to ensure seamless execution. /liliContinuously monitor and report on project progress, making data-driven adjustments to stay on track. /liliProvide expertise opinions in turbine lifting installation commissioning operations. /liliSafety Management /liliThe Project Manager shall be responsible for driving a safety focused culture in delivery of the project /liliIt is expected that the project manager shall treat safe delivery of the project as an overriding goal and be unflinching in placing suitable focus on this area. /liliCompliance with applicable local and international guidelines, legislation, and best practice shall be driven by the Project Manager with support from the HSE team /liliStakeholder Relationship Management /liliServe as the primary liaison between the French BNL SEU region and the parent company engineering team for an individual project, building strong collaborative relationships to leverage corporate expertise. /liliCultivate trust-based relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams, managing expectations and resolving issues proactively. /liliNavigate cross-cultural differences with sensitivity, ensuring open communication and mutual understanding. /liliSystem Adaptation Implementation /liliEvaluate existing project management frameworks from the parent company, identifying which elements can be rolled out directly, which need adaptation, and where new processes are necessary. /liliChampion the adoption of project management tools and systems, ensuring local teams are trained and supported. /liliRisk Compliance Management /liliIdentify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with Italy/EU regulations (including environmental, health, and safety standards). /liliMaintain alignment with corporate governance requirements while adapting to local market conditions. /liliCollaborate closely with HSE and Quality teams to integrate risk management into project plans. /liliBudget Cost Control /liliAccountable for development and management of project budgets, monitoring expenditures to avoid overruns. /liliCoordinate with finance and procurement teams to optimize cost efficiency without compromising quality or safety. /liliProvide regular financial forecasts and reports to senior management. /liliIdentify lessons learned from ongoing and completed projects, implementing continuous improvement initiatives. /liliDrive innovative approaches to project delivery, leveraging emerging technologies and industry best practices to achieve operational excellence. /liliAdvocate a forward-thinking mindset to shape new ways of working that align with local and global objectives. /liliReporting Communication /liliPrepare and present regular project updates to local and global senior leadership, highlighting achievements, risks, and mitigation strategies. /liliMaintain transparent, timely communication channels with all stakeholders to facilitate decision-making and resolve conflicts. /li /ulh3Qualifications and Experience /h3ulliEducation: /liliBachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field. A Master's degree is a plus. /liliCertifications: /liliPMI Project Management Professional (PMP), APM PMQ, PRINCE2, or similar certifications preferred. /liliExperience: /lili10+ years of experience in managing large-scale infrastructure or energy projects; experience in onshore wind or renewable energy is highly desirable. /lili5+ years minimum of experience in Onshore Wind. /liliFrontline HSE experience (e.g. as a representative offshore, construction project management experience) highly desirable. Experience with HSE reviews, incident investigations, and HAZIDs/HIRA's is expected. /liliDemonstrated success in adapting global systems and processes to meet regional requirements. /liliProven track record of working in cross-cultural or international environments. /liliTechnical Skills: /liliProficiency with project management software and systems /liliSolid understanding of contractual obligations, risk management, and financial controls in large-scale projects. /liliSoft Skills: /liliStrong relationship-building skills with a focus on trust, collaboration, and open dialogue. /liliExcellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. /liliDemonstrated adaptability and willingness to learn from different regions, cultures, and business practices. /li /ulh3Working Conditions /h3ulliPrimarily office-based in Paris with frequent travel to Italy, or site-based in Italy. /liliFlexible working arrangements can be discussed for the right candidates. /liliInvolves working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with opportunities for professional growth. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
