Construction Mechanical Supervisor PipingHe reports to the Construction Manager and directs subcontractor activities for his discipline. The supervisor ensures that Plant Construction works are performed according to erection schedules and Project documents, within the assigned cost budget, and in compliance with Quality & HSE procedures and subcontract terms.ResponsibilitiesPrior to the start of works, check the supplier’s material and technical documentation delivery schedule to confirm alignment with construction schedules and contractual commitments.Prior to the start of works, control and approve the Method Statements submitted by subcontractors, ensuring their correct application on site.Ensure implementation of all HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities.Participate in the HSE activities at site as defined in the Site HSE plan and related procedures.Verify that the construction schedule is maintained, and initiate corrective action to recover any delay.Confirm that the equipment and manpower employed by subcontractors are adequate and that their work conforms to design documents, safety regulations, and the required quality level.Perform inspections and sign the necessary certificates as per Site Inspection Plans.Prepare the non‑conformity register for each subcontractor and coordinate non‑conformity resolution.Detect design errors, rectify where possible, or request the Field Engineer to make required changes.Review subcontractors’ work progress status sheets and sign them for approval.Manage vendor specialists.Assist the Contract Manager/Engineer in defining new prices, preparing amendments to subcontract, and analyzing and discussing claims.
