Job Description:
The Automotive Inspector is responsible for conducting conformity assessment activities to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Working under the supervision of the Operation Manager (OM), the inspector plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity and quality of assessment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Conformity Assessments: Carry out assessment activities following detailed procedures, instructions, checklists, and forms as mandated by the Quality Management System (QMS).
2. Maintain Impartiality: Report any potential threats to impartiality to the OM immediately, in accordance with signed declarations.
3. Document Deviations: Identify and document deviations from applicable requirements following QMS protocols.
4. Prepare and Verify Documentation: Compile and report results, complete checklists, and ensure documentation is accurate and verified by the OM before issuance.
5. Authenticate Documentation: Sign off on documents certifying the results and content integrity.
6. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee calibration and operational status of measurement instruments and equipment.
7. Professional Development: Participate in training and refresher courses to maintain qualifications.
8. Adherence to QMS: Fulfill responsibilities outlined within the QMS documentation.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Continuous Improvement: Suggest process improvements based on findings and experiences.
2. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients and suppliers to clarify requirements and report findings.
3. Risk Management: Participate in risk assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
4. Regulatory Awareness: Stay informed about industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
High school diploma with a technical focus, preferably in mechanical or electronic fields, or a university degree in technical or scientific disciplines. For sector-specific verification or evaluation roles, a university or bachelor's degree is required. Proficiency in English is necessary.
