Senior Product & Solution Architect
Overview
As aProduct & Solution Architectat RGI, you will play a key role in shaping the architectural and engineering direction of our insurance platforms.
You will work closely with Product Owners and Delivery Managers to design scalable, secure and maintainable solutions, ensuring seamless integration within our clients' application landscapes.
This is a role for someone who combinesstrong architectural vision with hands-on technical credibility, and who is comfortable operating across product and delivery contexts.
Key Responsibilities
Design and prototype architectural solutions across the full application stack
Define integration patterns and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles
Drive architectural consistency across business lines and delivery projects
Establish and evolve development and integration best practices
Provide architectural and engineering guidance and support delivery teams and IT services
Ensure security-by-design principles, in line with OWASP guidelines
Contribute to architectural governance and long-term platform evolution
Professional Experience
5+ years of experience leading architectural initiatives or technical project teams
Proven contribution to the implementation of complex software solutions
Experience in structured environments or service companies
Knowledge of the insurance or banking sector is a plus
Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge ofDesign Patterns,Enterprise Integration PatternsandSOLID principles
Proven experience in defining architectural and application solutions
Experience designing secure systems (OWASP guidelines)
Experience delivering projects on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and core components provided by them (AWS: ALB, EKS, EFS, ECR...; Azure: AKS, Azure Application Gateway, Azure Files, ACR, ...)
Proven experience on Kubernetes based systems
Strong knowledge ofJava / JavaEE, Quarkus, Bash, helm
Strong knowledge ofObservability stacks (Opentelemetry, ELK, Signoz, Dynatrace, ...)
Solid experience withREST APIs, OpenAPI / AsyncAPI and web services
Good knowledge ofSQL, DMBS and NoSql DB
Good knowledge ofmessage system (Kafka, MQ Series)
Good knowledge ofmajor middleware components (application servers, redis, load balancers, proxy/reverse proxy, http servers)
Experience withJavaScript / TypeScriptand Angular frameworks
Good knowledge ofHTML5 and CSS3
Italian language is preferred.
Fluent English is required.

Education
