The Role and Candidate
The Product Allocator (South Europe) will play a crucial role in optimising POP MART's inventory management and logistics operations across the South European market (including Italy and Spain). Reporting to the Head of Retail, this dynamic position is responsible for managing merchandise transfers, maintaining warehouse systems and conducting data analysis to support the company's efficient retail operations. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various departments to ensure smooth inventory flow, accurate data management and timely reporting, contributing significantly to POP MART's operational excellence and growth objectives.
Responsibilities
Manage merchandise transfers and daily operations between multiple stores and warehouses
Maintain warehouse systems and internal data systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Facilitate communication between retail, warehouse and regional office to ensure smooth operations
Participate in quarterly and annual inventory counts, ensuring proper stock management
Conduct data analysis and provide regular reports or summaries to support decision-making
Handle operational emergencies and solve problems quickly and effectively
Collaborate with the merchandise team to ensure timely delivery of projects and tasks
Complete other tasks assigned according to project needs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Retail Management or related fields (STEM background is a plus if paired with strong commercial interest)
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in MS Office suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and data analysis tools
Proficiency in English and Italian, speaking and writing
Strong sense of responsibility, with good organisational and coordination abilities
Detail-oriented, with the ability to quickly solve problems and handle operational emergencies
Capable of efficiently handling multiple tasks and working effectively in a team environment
Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently when required
Desirable but Not Essential
Experience in the toy industry or retail sector
Knowledge of Spanish or any other European language
Familiarity with Italy / Spain retail landscape and logistics operations
Experience with inventory management software or ERP systems (Net Suite)
